that said... i'm 62 and have always lived in homes with stairs or on the second foor by choice.

my mantra's been 'buns of steel' when lugging groceries and pets up two flights... but damn if the knees aren't starting to bark a bit.

i also happen to like my space so me upstairs him downstairs sounds like the best of both to me :-).
