i remember my mother, born and raised in japan, telling me the back of a woman’s neck is considered sexy and alluring in their culture.
a *mound* on the back of one’s neck just isn’t sexy… carrie fisher once referred to hers [i was overjoyed and mortified learning i was not alone and she believed she *grew* hers by always having her face buried in a book like a horse eats from a bag of oats… that, too, was encouraging…as i’ve been a lifelong reader…] but i digress… omg. why these nagging compulsions… why?
