one of my last gasps after always barreling forward first and thinking it thru later [sadly, can work, it’s just a mother-effer] was to *hire a biz coach* and do act III *professionally and with discernment* so of course, i hired a business coach—not cheap—but one i could mostly afford.

this made me *manic* [as i actually had the time for the first time to actually do the kind of exploratory shit one does when paying for advice] to not only clarify [and re-clarify] my goals [seat of the pants + mid-term + long-term] i realized my coach was under-qualified [not necessarily his fault other than he came from a more rigid corporate culture even though they were architects] but he couldn’t possibly know the logistical, sometimes illogical, and rarely simple way my day-to-day business operates.

so a thousand thank yous… still need a coach and knew all along it was going to have to be me but you’ve made it a helluva lot easier to get going and to possibly enjoy the process when always questioning authority anyway.
