won't go into details because it's a bit embarassing... however why not disclose this much.

TIL [today i learned] :-O the vague overview of how these two 'lucky bastards' ended up on this... formidable, ungodly and beautiful QUEST.

for all kinds of ridiculous reasons i haven't scored my copy of the book AND plan to today... which is why i'm not going to read your [no doubt awesome and well-written] post in case of spoiler alerts and any other reason to think i've read it by proxy.

no way is that gonna happen.

now that i know more about how they ended up in this predicament and because i've survived a crooked court system, betrayal, and the voracious greed of some [thankfully not all] earthlings, my god...

i wouldn't dream of missing a single word of it, or the sequel.

thank you for so generously including me and inviting me to experience the journeys of this brave and hardy couple with all the other fine writers and people in this group.

i 'know' a few through the medium channel and the writing campus i spend time on... so truly this is not only a virtual book club for me, but a place to lick and celebrate my wounds.

[just guessing as my just purchased copy doesn't arrive until the weekend!]
