seems to me like a rather cold and thankless farewell to a man who i'm pretty sure did his best to serve his fellow americans honestly, honorably, and in good faith.

in the final analysis, none of us are flawless; not all of us choose to live our lives under a microscope, and most of us will age— god-willing—while being judged as pathetic old men, women, or humans for lacking the steam, rigor, and mental dexterity of our youth.

the gift of grace can actually 'come back around,' especially when shared.
