ironically it was writing and publishing my 'about me' that i saw [in black and white], i had lived a coupled life for nearly FOUR decades.

oof.

AND seeing it so plainly was a stark reminder of how i often felt while tethered to a partner... envying the freedom and personal power of my single female friends.

unfortunately, i've had to put my perception of their lives into practice and that's been challenging, i cannot lie.

on the other hand... like yoga showing up on the daily for better or worse is a practice which includes not nailing it and/or failing and not giving up.

i think it's called trusting the process.

congratulations to you, shani, for finding self love as without that we're forever looking outside ourselves for validation and self-worth.

thank you for sharing your solo journey.

the cosmos is in perfect order and the love gods deliver when the time is right and it's not always RIGHT NOW and that's a gift if we see it, know it, and live it.
